Life in a Liverpool street gang

The killer of schoolboy Rhys Jones was a member of a Liverpool gang and engaged in a bitter feud with another group.

Croxteth Crew gang member Sean Mercer, now 18 years old, has been convicted of shooting him. The jury heard Mercer had an intense hatred of a rival gang member and had gone to shoot him but Rhys Jones was caught in the cross-fire.

The BBC's Richard Bilton looks at gang culture in Liverpool.
