Today presenter celebrates new son

BBC broadcaster John Humphrys has become a father again at the age of 56.
His partner, News 24 presenter Valerie Sanderson, gave birth to a baby boy weighing in at 6lb 13oz. The couple have called him Owen James. A proud Humphrys joked afterwards: "You can tell it's a journalist's child because all he wants to do is drink and sleep! "My only worry is that so far he hasn't interrupted me once - but I suppose there is plenty of time for that to develop." Cardiff-born Humphrys, who has two grown-up children from a previous marriage, had a reverse vasectomy before fathering his new child. The veteran interviewer has been with 40-year-old Ms Sanderson for 13 years - the same length of time he has spent anchoring BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
