Turning electronic waste into cash

Every year the UK throws out over a million tonnes of electronic equipment.

But inside abandoned vacuum cleaners, toasters and hairdryers are valuable raw materials.

Retrieving them is a complicated process.

Justin Greenaway, manager at Kent recycling firm SWEEEP, explains how it's done.
