Wife forgives troubled cop

The widow of former Manchester Chief Constable Mike Todd told reporters she had forgiven his infidelity.

Carolyn Todd spoke to reporters outside the inquest where a coroner recorded that the 50-year-old died from exposure after consuming drink and drugs on a mountain in Snowdonia in March.

A few days before his death, Mrs Todd discovered that her husband had been having an affair.
