As part of its research into police racism for Panorama: The Secret Policeman Returns, the BBC made Freedom of Information requests to all police forces in the UK asking the following questions: For each of the last five financial years, how many internal investigations were recorded against all police officers? How many internal investigations were recorded against BME police officers? Thirty police forces responded with information. Below is a table of the information provided for the last financial year.
