A choir from Wales which lost £50,000 following the collapse of the airline Zoom is waiting to hear if their XL flights are safe.

Members and supporters of Llandybie Male Voice Choir from Ammanford had booked their replacement flights for a tour of Canada with XL subsidiary Travel City Direct.

It will cost them a further £46,000 if they lose flights for a second time.

The choir's minute secretary, Ken Thomas, said it would be 'tragic' if members lost their money again.
