Is enough help being provided for the families of people dealing with addiction?

Entertainers Amy Winehouse and David Duchovny have recently featured in the news as they face their personal battles.

Addiction seems to be an occupational hazard for many entertainers as they endure detox and visits to rehab.

However, BBC News wants to discover how ordinary addicts cope and most importantly what effect this has on their families.

Do you have a relative who is an addict? Are they receiving adequate treatment? What effect does this have on the rest of the family? Is enough support provided? Would you be happy to be interviewed by a BBC journalist? Send us your comments using the form below. (Your details will not be published).
