Alex Stanger is a familiar face on Your News but where else might you have seen her? Maybe Liquid News- she was a reporter on that and more recently in her role on E24 she has graced some of the most famous red carpets interviewing showbiz types.

What is your worst on-air moment?
There are so many but the one which has been on the most blooper shows involves me, a yellow boa constrictor and a pair of extremely tight jeans...
What am I most proud of?
My nieces and godchildren
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Not just one thing but volumes of advice was given to me by the late and great Christopher Price.
He forced all the reporters on Liquid News to raise their game pretty much by being the demanding and unique individual he was. Christopher forced me to tweak my scripts, threw me endless curve balls during lives and made me take a long hard look at my presentating style.
His unique training was probably better than any course - which I suppose would be my advice to any aspiring journalist - definitely do the courses (if only to know if you are libelling someone or not) but overall watch and learn from those you admire.
What is your greatest ambition?
Completing a black run full of perfect parallel turns and finishing the book.
What are your top three songs?
My top three songs change all the time but these are always up there: 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' by Stevie Wonder, 'Last Dance' by Donna Summer and 'Step On' by Happy Mondays
How would you change the world?
I reckon the world would be a much better place if people (mainly short sighted businessmen) gave up their seats to the elderly, pregnant or the infirm on public transport.
Oh, and if newspapers didn't come with endless leaflets (it's official I have become my mother).
And if gas and electricity suppliers went out of business because everyone sourced their own energy from the sun or roof top windmills that would be unrealistic but marvellous (yep, I've just had a round of massive bills).
