'Fund red squirrel protection'

Wildlife campaigners are urging the government to spend more money on protecting the red squirrel.

It follows a successful pilot programme in Northumberland where controls on grey squirrels have led to an increase in the number of reds.

There are now calls to introduce the scheme elsewhere. Lyttanya Shannon reports.
