Beckhams death threat revelations
![]() Security has been stepped up around Brooklyn
Police have revealed details of another death threat sent to Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and her husband, footballer David.
The couple were posted a defaced newspaper photograph, reportedly featuring a bullet drawn on it directed towards her. The image also showed blood coming from her head, with the message: "You are going to get what's coming to you." Detectives have carried out forensic tests on the letter and envelope, which were received a year ago.
The family arrived back in Britain on Wednesday from Florence in Italy, where they celebrated Manchester United star David's 25th birthday. Police have confirmed they are hunting the sender of the photograph. A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "Detective Chief Inspector John Davis, the crime manager at Macclesfield, confirms that Cheshire Police are investigating an incident involving Mr and Mrs Beckham." The family have all been the target of hate mail, with a doctored picture of Brooklyn bleeding from a bullet wound to his head sent to the home of David's parents. A similar threat was sent to Victoria's parents' house. Last year, a £1m plot by an underworld figure to kidnap Brooklyn and his mother was foiled by police.
