Chinese-made children's bottles are being recalled by Asda
A recall of 115,000 Chinese-made children's bottles has been issued by Asda because of fears that the caps may break off.

The yellow, pink and orange coloured reusable bottles are intended for children aged three and upwards.

Asda said its technical team decided on a recall following a customer complaint which identified the problem.

A spokesman for the supermarket chain said nobody has been hurt and full refunds will be issued.

The bottles being recalled are orange-coloured children's bottles with a snail and spider design, pink with a butterfly design and yellow coloured with stars.

Asda said that only bottles with specific barcodes are subject to the recall.

The spokesman said: "Although nobody has been hurt, we are asking anyone who has bought one of these bottles to bring it back to their nearest store where they will be given a full refund."

Further details are available on Asda's customer relations helpline on 0500 100 055.
