Sir Stanley Matthews: A football legend
![]() Sir Stanley Matthews, the first professional footballer to be knighted, has died in hospital at the age of 85. Sir Stanley was renowned for his sense of fair play - he was never once booked or sent off - and his remarkable dribbling skills.
