A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a six-year-old boy was found dead at a house in Surrey.
Police were called to George Road, Farncombe, on Wednesday morning by a member of the public following reports of a "domestic incident".
The 52-year-old man handed himself in to a police station in Tywyn, Gwynedd, in north Wales, two hours later.
A Surrey police spokesman said officers were travelling to Wales and the man would be brought back to the county.
Ch Supt Kevin Deanus added that no one else was involved in the incident.
He said: "We are working very hard with the community and the family at this very tragic and difficult time."
The cause of death has not been released.
