Manchester United footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is facing a speeding charge, the Crown Prosecution Service has said.
The Portuguese international was allegedly caught by a speed camera in Manchester on 16 July last year.
The 21-year-old winger is accused of driving with excessive speed on the A5103 Princess Parkway close to the junction with Mauldeth Road West.
Officials said the case is listed to be heard at Manchester City Magistrates Court on 6 February.
