Pair charged after terror raids
A man has been charged with terrorism offences following a series of raids in Bolton, Greater Manchester, last month.

Omar Altimimi, 36, from Lansdowne Road, Bolton, was charged with four offences under the Terrorism Act 2000 and will appear in court on Saturday.

Yusuf Abdullah, 29, of no fixed address, faces one charge under the Proceeds of Crime Act and a further charge under the Theft Act.

The men were detained in raids on eight addresses in Bolton on 27 June.

Both men will appear at Bow Street Magistrates' Court, in London, on Saturday.

The charges against Mr Altimimi relate to the possession of articles for the purposes of terrorism, and the collection of information likely to be useful for terrorism purposes.

He also faces a charge under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
