Mother charged with murdering sons

The bodies were found in this cottage

The mother of two severely disabled men found dead in a remote cottage has been charged with their murders.

Janquil Melody Turnbull, 51, is accused of the murders of Robert and Richard at their home near Bembridge, on the Isle of Wight.

The cause of death is still not known. A post mortem examination proved inconclusive and toxicology test results are not expected until late October.

Ms Turnbull will appear before Newport magistrates later on Thursday.

She was arrested after the men's bodies were found in a cottage at Whitecliff Bay on Tuesday.

Both young men had profound physical and mental disabilities.
