The British owner of a Cambodia bar has been stabbed to death during a robbery attempt, local police have said.
David Mitchell, 37, from the West Midlands, was stabbed repeatedly during a break-in at his Phnom Penh apartment.
New Zealander Jane Nye, 29, also staying at the home, suffered injuries to her neck and head and was taken to hospital in Thailand for treatment.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested. Mr Mitchell ran the Ginger Monkey bar, popular with tourists and expatriates.
The Foreign Office said Mr Mitchell's next of kin had been informed of his death.
