Women hurt in road rage attack
Police are hunting a driver who attacked two women in an apparent road rage incident on a motorway near Doncaster.
The two women were driving south on the A1M in South Yorkshire late on Sunday night when the male driver forced them to pull over on the slip road to the M18.
He then hit the driver's door with such force that the window shattered.
Then he reached inside and punched the driver in the face and hit her passenger on the side of the head before driving off.
The woman driver has been detained overnight in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
South Yorkshire Police have no idea what sparked the attack and are appealing for witnesses.
