The man was held over suspected terrorist activity overseas
A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of having items likely to be of use to a terrorist has been released without charge.

The man was arrested in Sheffield on Friday by officers from Scotland Yard's Anti-Terrorist Branch and officers from South Yorkshire police.

Police had said the arrest was in connection with an investigation into suspected terrorist activity overseas.

It was not related to the London bombings in July last year, they said.
