The survey of 1,000 office staff found that people at work were being driven crazy by colleagues with a number of annoying habits.
Pet hates included people who do not turn their mobile phones off in meetings, being untidy in the office kitchen and leaving the photocopier or printer for someone else to fix. Others found their stress levels rose working with people who looked constantly depressed, or who stole staplers and pens from desks without returning them.
Those who leave milk and tea stains over the office kitchen also raised their colleagues' blood pressure.
"These irritations are the root cause of stress at work and, if we can recognise this and act upon it, stress levels of British workers may even decline." |
