Yappies could be a good source of scuttletray

Workers who sneak off for a coffee are 'sneakaccinos' and mobile phone users are 'yappies', according to a new business dictionary.

The so-called Lexicon of Neologisms has been drawn up by etc.Venues, which provides places for business events, and about 500 of its clients.

Chairwoman Teresa Graham said she hoped the words would be used in the future, adding: "Language is about evolution".

In the Lexicon a 'snoutcast' is someone forced to smoke outside the office.

'Blighteycentral" is a city in the Lexicon and 'wordetcher' is a pen.

Ms Graham added that the project aimed to help people think about words they used daily.

"Ten years ago you wouldn't have thought that 'Google' would be a word that was used...it is about embracing change," she said.

The dictionary will be launched in London next month.

Other terms in the Lexicon of Neologisms:

• Scuttletray - Gossip started by smokers outside an office.

• Mochamess- Spilling coffee on a keyboard

• Goodjobist - Someone doing their job well

• Outdesk - Refusing to leave an office before colleagues

• Wormcanner - Someone who stores up trouble
