The TV presenter was shot in the head as she arrived home in Fulham West London in April this year. Ms Dando, 37, presented Crimewatch, the Holiday programme and the Six O'Clock News. As well as being at the peak of her professional career, she was also looking forward to marrying her fiance, Alan Farthing. Thirty individuals investigated
Officers have built their list of suspects from their own investigations and tip-offs from the public. The police are concentrating on two main theories: The TV presenter was either killed by a contract hitman, perhaps employed by someone in her private life, or a stalker. The profile of that man is an angry loner who is isolated. Officers admit they still have no motive for the killing but they are encouraged by the number of calls they have had from people with information about the bullet which killed her. They also remain optimistic the killer will be found, but it will take time.
