Since Ms Dando died police have been able to piece together a comprehensive picture of the movements of a number of people in the area around her west London home.
Detectives believe that the people in this sequence of events, on Monday 26 April are central to their ongoing murder hunt:
10.03 - A postman delivering mail to Ms Dando's empty home at 29 Gowan Avenue, Fulham, notices he is being watched by a dark-haired man wearing a suit standing opposite "like he thought someone was going to receive mail".
10.05 - Ms Dando leaves her fiancé's house by car.
10.10 - A woman driver turning into Gowan Avenue notices a dark-haired man wearing a suit walking along the road. She is then followed at close quarters by a blue Range Rover before it stops near Fulham football ground.
10.23 - Ms Dando stops for petrol at a BP garage on the Great West Road.
10.40 - A window cleaner working at No 26 Gowan Avenue sees a man with light coloured hair, smartly dressed in a light grey two-piece suit talking into a mobile phone. He was loitering outside Ms Dando's house and looked like an estate agent.
10.46 - Ms Dando is seen at Rymans stationers in Hammersmith shopping mall.
10.55 - She is spotted at The Link electrical shop. She also bought two fillet Dover sole fish and police are trying to track down the shop where she got them. She received and made a number of calls during her shopping trip.
11.00 - A blue Range Rover is again spotted parked in the Gowan Avenue and Munster Road area. A motorist driving along Gowan Avenue sees a dark-haired and smartly-dressed man standing in the road speaking into a mobile phone.
11.00-11.29 - While leaving home, a female neighbour of Ms Dando spots a man, again dark-haired and wearing a suit, standing between parked cars. Another woman sees a man of similar description walking along Gowan Avenue.
About 11.30 - Ms Dando is murdered on her doorstep by a single bullet from a 9mm "short" automatic pistol. Detective Chief Inspector Hamish Campbell, the man leading the inquiry, said the killer had used 9mm Remington ammunition. Screams were heard but no gunshot. Two witnesses saw a man running from No 29. He was said to have thick black hair and be wearing a waxed jacket. At a similar time a man was seen standing at the junction of Gowan Avenue and Munster Road. He was wearing black-framed glasses and was in an agitated state looking down the two roads. He was said to be in a dark-blue pin-striped suit.
11.37-11.39 - Four witnesses describe seeing a man in a suit running from Gowan Avenue and along Fulham Palace Road until he enters Bishops Park beside the Thames. He runs across the path of van which has to brake hard to avoid hitting him. The man is not wearing a waxed jacket, prompting police to believe that he is not the man from outside Ms Dando's home but a possible lookout.
11.40 - A man is spotted crouching by railings in Bishops Park furtively talking into a mobile phone. Shortly afterwards a man wearing a blue windcheater is seen climbing railings to some riverside steps.
11.40-11.43 - A witness spots a suit-wearing man coming to stand at a bus stop in Fulham Palace Road. He is sweating profusely, looking at other people standing at the bus stop. He is around 5ft 10in tall with a "slightly foreign" appearance and has marks on the bridge of his nose as if he had been wearing glasses.
11.44 - The man, resembling the E-fit of the suspect, boards a No74 bus and asks for the fare to Putney Bridge Station. His mobile phone rings while on board and he holds a conversation. He is not seen again.
11.52 - A picture from a CCTV camera shows a metallic blue Range Rover on Fulham Palace Road travelling south at high speed. The car was seen leaving Doneraile St opposite Gowan Avenue. It had one person in it and it leaned over as it swept into the main road.
The driver was seen running a red light before driving south and was filmed by the camera at Putney Bridge.
