The Duchess of York says she was snubbed over the Queen's golden
wedding anniversary celebrations.
She made her claims in one of two television interviews she gave in the United States.
The Duchess told CNN's chat show host Larry King that she had planned to join her two daughters and her ex-husband, the Duke of York, at the Royal golden wedding service at Westminster Abbey on Thursday.
But she said "she didn't think it was right to go" after finding that she
was not invited to other celebrations.
"I, in fact, was going to be there on a Concorde flight," the Duchess told Mr
King. "But I then found out on Monday there was an amount of other events such as a ball, a lunch, a tea, a breakfast and goodness knows what and so forth, which I hadn't been invited to, which I didn't think was right."
In the other interview, with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess detailed her living
arrangements with Prince Andrew at Sunningdale, Berkshire.
