Spot the doctored photo
You can't believe everything you see when it comes to photographs. But can you spot when images have been altered?

Doctoring photos to massage the truth was once the preserve of Stalin, but now everyone's doing it.

The Beatles' famous Abbey Road LP cover has been altered in America to remove Paul McCartney's cigarette, while Kate Winslet's curves were digitally flattened out in GQ.

Can you spot when picture editors are trying to pull the wool over your eyes? Which of the following images have had people or things removed, added or altered?

To get the answers:
• For PC users, simply put your cursor on the image.
• For Mac users, or to get the answers in full, just scroll to the bottom of the page.
