The commercial and waterfront areas of Liverpool are on the list
The government has published a list of 32 sites across the UK and among its territories which are being proposed for the United Nations' World Heritage Sites:

- Cornish Mining Industry, England.
- Dallas Dhu Distillery, Moray, Scotland.
