The crash site
It took an hour to free the lorry driver from his cab
Two women have died after a lorry ploughed into an estate agents' shop.

The vehicle collided with two vans and mounted the pavement before crashing into the front of Aitchison's in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on Thursday afternoon.

The lorry, carrying scaffolding, was travelling along the busy A404 Easton Street when the accident happened at 1450BST.

It is not known whether the victims were working on the premises, or were there as customers.

It took an hour to free the lorry driver from his cab.

Investigation

He was rushed to Wycombe General Hospital with a head injury.

Three other men were taken to hospital, one with a fractured leg and the others with minor injuries.

Police said the road was closed in both directions after the accident.

It is not expected to re-open until 2200BST when structural engineers have finished their investigations.
