Prince Harry is on crutches after accidentally putting his foot through a glass door.
The 16-year-old prince was at a private party with friends when the accident happened, said St James's Palace.
The prince, who is living at his father's Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire, was at a party on Thursday night when he stuck his foot out to stop a glass door from slamming shut. A spokeswoman said: "Someone came rushing through a door and he put out his foot to stop it swinging back but unfortunately pushed too hard and his foot went through a pane of glass at the base of the door." 'Good spirits' She added: "He cut his foot on the pane on Thursday and went to hospital today for a few stitches. "The cut is just above the shoe line on his right foot. "He will be on crutches for 48 hours to stop him putting pressure on it. "He's fine and is in good spirits." St James's Palace described the injury as "minor". In November Harry underwent a minor operation after chipping a bone in his thumb playing football.
