Help create Bruce Damer's Planetary Mood Ring

If the world's emotions were represented by colour, what would it look like?

Bruce Damer is an expert in avatars - our virtual representations online.

He told BBC World Service's The Forum programme that a planetary mood ring - inspired by the colour-changing rings made popular in the 1970s - could become, in Mr Damer's words, a "gigantic feelings aggregator" for the world.

He is hoping to eventually collect text, tweets, blogs, email, video and almost anything else to gauge the world's feelings at any given time.

But first, he is concentrating on collecting simple emotions or "moodies".
