On/Off: Pulling the plug

South Korea is often called "the world's most wired society", boasting the fastest average broadband speeds on the planet.

For the SuperPower season the BBC's Korea correspondent, John Sudworth, asked residents of a tower block in central Seoul to live without the web for one week.

With the families braced for a week of internet abstinence, all that was needed was for someone to pull the plug - and as John explains, that job fell to Mr Song, an engineer from Korea Telecom.
