Apple iPad computer unveiled by Steve Jobs

Apple has unveiled the iPad touchscreen computer, a tablet device with no keyboard.

Chief executive Steve Jobs presented the portable computer to an audience at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.

The device, which looks like a large iPhone, can be used to watch films, play games and browse the web.
