Tory hopes on Britain's digital future

The long-awaited Digital Britain report, which examines issues like internet piracy and broadband usage, is due to be unveiled.

Report author Lord Carter is also expected to set out a new funding model for independent regional TV news.

Shadow Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt says he is not convinced by the idea of using part of the BBC licence fee in order to pay for rival regional news.
