Cars gets parental controls

A car has been developed with controls allowing parents to limit what their teenage children can do with it.

The MyKey system, developed by Ford, lets parents programme a car's top speed to 80mph.

It also lets them limit the volume of the stereo and ensure seatbelts are worn by muting the music.

Ford says the new system will 'encourage teens to drive more safely'.
