Struggling with the cost of living?

Is the cost of your groceries going up, while the amount of items in your shopping basket stays the same? Are you struggling to pay your mortgage or fill up your car?

The BBC is trying to find out how the current economic climate is affecting families across the country and is looking for households to take part in a year-long project.

Over recent months, the credit crunch has seen the housing market slow down, banks withdraw mortgage offers and

homes fall into negative equity. Are you facing tough times?

Whether your live in an average family, run your own business, are a single parent or a pensioner, we want to hear how you are coping.

How many people live in your household? Are your family finances taking a battering? What changes are you having to make to stay afloat? Would you be able to commit to a project that may see you featured on radio, on television and online?

Credit crunch, rising food and fuel prices - how are you coping in the current economic climate?
