What is Talking Point ON AIR?

BBC News Online joins with the BBC World Service to bring you Talking Point ON AIR, the international multimedia phone-in show.

Talking Point ON AIR (formally Newstalk) is a new media concept - the first truly interactive radio programme with the internet at its heart.

Talking Point ON AIR is your chance to talk to the world about issues that affect YOU. We also give you the chance to question and debate with some of the world's leading figures from politics to pop, space science to sport.

It's on the radio - and broadcast live on the Internet - on Sundays at 1405GMT.

For details on how to tune into the BBC World Service click here

You can follow the show on our web-site, where you can even look in on the action in our studio thanks to our sneaky web-cam, bringing you the programme in both real video and real audio.

To contribute to the debate, you can either e-mail us at talkingpoint@bbc.co.uk - before or during transmission - or call us on 44 171 379 7444 from 12:00GMT on Sundays.

And don't worry about the cost - you can call us collect (reverse the charges).

You can contribute to our debates both before, during and even after the programme goes out on the airwaves.

Talking Point ON AIR gives you the chance to join in a global community to discuss the issues that matter. Turn the tables on broadcasting and let us know the issues YOU think Talking Point should be discussing.
