Royal Marines Tim Welford and Dom Mee have been battling with high seas for more than 100 days as part of their bid to row 5,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean. Now the two adventurers have just passed the half way point in their mammoth journey from Choshi in Japan to San Francisco in the USA. Dom Mee chatted to BBC News Online about the journey - and also answered some of your questions. You can read all about their journey so far AND read an abridged transcript of the forum in the BBC News Online In-depth report - Rowing the Pacific. The report charts the journey with audio interviews and pictures; as well as giving detailed background information on the boat and the two marines. |
