Budget 2001 - what will the Chancellor do?

BBC News Online 1000 survey suggests that UK voters want the Chancellor Gordon Brown to invest further in public services in his forthcoming budget.

Voters say they would prefer he invest further in health and education than cut income tax rates.

But what will Gordon Brown do on Budget Day, will it be a big give away budget ahead of a general election, will he heed the demands of pensioners and how much money does he have to spend?

The BBC's economic reporter Dharshini David will give an analysis of the BBC News Online 1000 pre budget poll and answer questions on what the Chancellor can do with his millions at 1330GMT on Thursday 15 Feb.
