With Christmas just a month away you might be worrying about how you are going to afford the festive season.

The current financial climate will make it difficult for many people to pay for expensive presents, fancy food and a busy social life.

But must Christmas be an expensive affair? And can cheap be cheerful, rather than just tacky? We would like to hear your helpful tips on saving cash at Christmas.

Do you make homemade presents? Did you start buying your presents at the beginning of the year? What are your clever Christmas tips? Do you have a recipe or gift-making method you would like to share with us?
