What are your Blue Peter memories?

Blue Peter celebrates its 50th anniversary on Thursday with a special edition of the programme.

The popular children's show has seen 34 presenters and eight pet dogs since its inception in 1958.

The phrase "here's one I made earlier" was born on the programme, when the presenters made models out of sticky-backed plastic, washing-up liquid bottles and pipe cleaners.

We want to hear about your memories of the programme.

Are you a Blue Peter fan? Did you make one of the models designed by the Blue Peter team? Did you win a Blue Peter badge? What are your fondest memories of the show?

Thank you for your comments. We are no longer looking for contributors.
