UK Troops in Afghanistan

Second Battalion Parachute Regiment in Kabul
Have you recently returned from Afghanistan after serving in the British armed forces there?

The conflict in Afghanistan has intensified over the past year. Britain currently has nearly 8,000 troops in the country, stationed mainly in Helmand Province.

Many others have returned home, after completing their tour in the country.

The BBC wishes to talk to troops who have returned from active service in Afghanistan.

Are you a member of the British armed forces who has served in Afghanistan and is now back in Britain? What is your experience of returning home?

Did you have the support and reaction you expected? What have been the positives and negatives of returning to life in the UK?

The BBC understands there may be a need for anonymity and will respect this if requested.
