Are you a Somali, Tamil or Kurd in the UK?

Somali community, Sparkbrook
Somalis have lived in the UK for more than a century

The BBC news website would like to hear from Somalis, Kurds and Sri Lankan Tamils living in the UK.

We want to look at how these communities keep their political aspirations and cultural traditions alive - and their relationship with their troubled homelands.

Are you a Somali, Sri Lankan Tamil or Kurd living in the UK? How long have you lived here and under what circumstances did you first come to the UK? How do you keep in touch with your country of origin?

Thank you for your comments.
