Blogging Glastonbury

Whether it is a traditional web log, a series of Tweets on Twitter or a photo gallery, bloggers are finding many new and interesting ways to record their daily experiences.

BBC News website reader Rory O'Sullivan went to Glastonbury and managed to update his web pages via Flickr, the photo hosting website and Twitter.


JUNE 25th

17.20 "Out of office turned on and the Glastonbury excitement has started!"

JUNE 26th

06.29 "Up and showered, last minute check, still lost my sunhat, out the door shortly."

06.58 "Heading to the coach station."

08.27 "Coach leaving half an hour early as it's full. Let the journey commence."

June 27th

07.55 "Got soaked and crushed on a metal railing last night trying to get into the silent disco. Gave up and went to the bar."

09.21 "I will be outside the Orange Chill and charge tent at 3pm if anyone is about."

11.07 "Watching Kate Nash open the festival on the Pyramid Stage."

13.06 "Pear cider, funky soul from Phantom Limb on the Jazz World stage. Lovely."

June 28th

10.19 "Up and off for breakfast. Shangri La and Trash City last night were great!"

12.42 "Wandering around the festival looking at hippies.

13.45 "Watching The Teenagers on the John Peel stage, they are ok."

16.47 "The John Peel stage is very busy. There's a screen up outside. Waiting for British Sea Power to come on stage."

17.23 "Camped out at the Other stage for Wombats, Duffy and Elbow.

18.14 "Sun is shining. Weather has been good so far today. Watching the few clouds there are go past and waiting for Duffy to take the stage."

21.58 "Elbow were simply amazing. Best band of the weekend so far. Goosebumps and emotions flying. Simply amazing."

10.21 "Jay Z at Pyramid stage. I am a bit far back at the left as you face the stage. Next to a guy with a Liverpool flag if anyone is watching on TV."

03.41 "Just seen some cabaret over at the Shangri La to end the evening. Singers, dancers, cat and cow outfits and allsorts."

June 29th

13.17 "Hula hoops, giant bikes, horsemen, skateboarders and a small child being flung in the air by about 30 people. That's the circus field for you."

15.05 "Having a beer outside the Queen's Head where Ladyhawk are blaring out."

17.19 "At Pyramid stage watching Neil Diamond with new friends."

20.32 "About to watch Noah and the Whale on the recommendations of others. Fingers crossed."

22.07 "Amazing sunset over Glastonbury. Chilling before the final headliners I will be finishing partying to Groove Armada."

23.39 "There are lasers everywhere. Light show is just as good as the music. Everyone is dancing. This is superb stuff by Groove Armada."
