Chechnya forum: Ask a panel
Russian soldier/Chechen civilians in Grozny

What is life like in war-torn Grozny? The Chechen capital has been devastated by 10 years of war and on Wednesday 8 December the BBC will put a selection of your questions to a panel of people there.

This is an opportunity to hear from ordinary residents, who are not mouthpieces for the Russian-backed authorities or the separatist rebels.

They come from various professions and social backgrounds. What is their view of Chechnya's future? Send us your questions.

The panel's answers will appear here on Wednesday. The question and answer session may be affected by local conditions, such as frequent blackouts, but we will strive to avoid publication delays.

This event is part of a BBCRussian.com series marking the 10th anniversary of Russia's military intervention in Chechnya.
