War in Iraq: Your experiences

US-led forces have now been in Iraq for more than a year and, despite continuing violence, coalition authorities are preparing to hand over power to the Iraqi people on 30 June.

Here at BBC News Online we would like you to tell us what it is like in Iraq. We're looking for personal letters and writing from or about Iraq over the past year.

Have you written about your experiences, worries or concerns in the country? Your letter could be about the conflict, life at home or any unusual experiences. You could be an Iraqi, a soldier serving in the country or a humanitarian or private sector worker.

Some of the best writing will be published online and the best extracts used in a BBC radio programme looking back at Iraq over the past year.

Send your experiences using the form on the right. If you have an existing email that you would prefer to forward to the BBC, send it to talkingpoint@bbc.co.uk

Do you have any photos of your experiences in Iraq?
