Talking Point Is the art of flirting dead?
A stolen glance, a fleeting smile, a hand resting gently on someone's arm - have you forgotten how to be flirtatious?
It is meant to come naturally, but has flirting been repressed by our politically correct society?
"I think flirting has had some very bad press, when actually it is something which is very good for you, and for those around you," she said.
Is making eyes at someone you fancy out of date or do you like being chatted up?
Social anthropologist Kate Fox thinks men have a greater need to be taught than women:
"All the research that's been done shows they're less socially skilled and not as good at non-verbal and verbal communication," she said.
However one customer at single's bar Caspars in London does not think there is any skill or art involved.
"It's just something everybody does subconsciously. I think it's genetically inside us, because to reproduce you have to flirt to mate."
