Are depleted uranium weapons being used during the attacks in Afghanistan? BBC defence correspondent Paul Adams writes: As with all military campaigns, we cannot be 100% certain that the media is being fully briefed regarding which weapons are being used. However, to the best of our knowledge, and bearing in mind the sort of equipment and munitions used so far, we do not think that depleted uranium rounds have been fired during the attacks on Afghanistan. |
