Rangers await eastern journey
![]() Rangers face a trip into the unknown
Rangers will meet a team from either Lithuania or Bosnia after the first qualifying round of the Uefa Champions League was made.
The Ibrox side who enjoyed a relatively good run in the group stages last season will enter the competition during the second qualifying round of games. Dick Advocaat's team have been drawn at home in the first leg on July 28 with the return taking place in Lithuania or Bosnia on August 2. Northern Ireland's representative Linfield face Finland's FC Haka during the first stage with the opening leg away at the Tehtaankentta Stadium in Valkeakoski. League of Wales champions TNS Llansantffraid FC will face a trip to Estonian side FC Levadia Maardu. Republic of Ireland side Shelbourne FC are set play Macedonian side FC Sloga Jugomagnat. Leeds United enter the Champions League at the third and final qualifying stage. Draw for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. First-leg matches to take place Wednesday July 12; second legs on Wednesday July 19
