Wariso left out of relay team
The semi-final winners: Baulch, Baldock, Hylton, Wariso
Solomon Wariso's European championships have finally fallen apart with his omission from the final of the 4x400m relay.
Wariso entered the British trials hoping mainly to win a relay spot but ended up being controversially selected for the individual 400m, edging out the proven Roger Black.
He was nearly eliminated in the first round in Budapest but eventually made the final where he finished sixth before suffering the ignominy of disqualification for running out of his lane.
Wariso then ran the slowest leg on Saturday as the 4x400m squad qualified comfortably for Sunday evening's final.
Medal winners brought back
Not surprisingly, individual 400m medal winners Iwan Thomas (gold) and Mark Richardson (bronze) - both rested for the qualifiers - have been brought back and Wariso is one of the men having to give way.
The other is the relatively inexperienced Sean Baldock.
Those keeping their places are lead-off man Mark Hylton and Jamie Baulch, who finished eighth at the British trials but was found to be suffering from a virus at the time.
The order for the final will be Hylton, Baulch, Thomas and Richardson.
All change for the women as well
The women's 4x400m team have also changed their line-up for the final.
Individual 400m finalist Donna Fraser and 200m finalist Katharine Merry - who will probably move up to 400m next season - are brought in for Natasha Danvers and Michelle Thomas.
Fraser will hand to Vicky Jamison; then will come Merry and Allison Curbishley will run the anchor leg.
