Picture gallery: Tyson floors Francis

After all the controversy and hype of the build-up, Mike Tyson made short work of opponent Julius Francis, despite a brave performance from the British champion.

Tyson and Francis trade punches as round one begins at the MEN arena in Manchester.

Francis soon feels the force of a Tyson punch he later admitted he had underestimated.

Francis is down, but not out - yet.

Francis goes down another time, and the referee wants to check his condition.

The referee decides Francis has had enough after he hits the canvas for a fifth time.

Tyson is declared the winner - to nobody's surprise.

Tyson's ringside team hold him aloft - no title yet, but potentially another milestone on his route back.
