Tyson may fight in Britain

Boxing's bad boy could be on his way to the UK

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson could make his ring return in Britain after Christmas.

Tyson's opponent is yet to be named, but, according to US TV station Showtime Boxing he will make his return on 15 January in either the United Kingdom or Germany.

It will be the first fight for Tyson since his October 23 bout when opponent Orlin Norris left the ring in the first round after injuring his right knee.

The Norris fight marked Tyson's return to the ring after a nine-month jail sentence for assaulting two motorists last year in Maryland.

Tyson may hope to challenge for the undisputed crown after Lennox Lewis ended seven years of fragmented supremacy by defeating Evander Holyfield in Las Vegas on Saturday.
